寝不足だったけれど、早起きして初日の出も拝んで来ました！
アメリカでは初日の出を見る習慣はありませんが、New Year's Resolutions（新年の抱負）を語るところは似ています。
私の抱負...例年とほぼ同じではあるけれど、昨年11月の日本でのCDリリースツアーでも大切さを実感した身体作り！（基礎体力を維持しておくこと）
このところ改めて音楽に良い影響を及ぼすことを実感しています。
今年も益々張り切って心も身体も鍛え、自分の音楽をブラッシュアップする一年にしたいと思っています☆
We enjoyed a New year's eve and New year's day party at our friend's house in New Smyrna. In the early morning we visited New Smyrna Beach to see the New year's first sunrise.
It's a Japanese tradition to pray during the new year's first sunrise.
Similar to Japan, the American tradition is to make New Year's Resolutions!
My new year's resolution is... seriously working out 'Body and Soul' for my music!
Before going to Japan last November, we had been working out hard at the gym and Yoga class.
My body felt in really good condition while playing music during the 2 week CD release concert tour in Japan.
I decided that I should continue to work out hard this coming year ;)

Our first concert this year is 'Double Pleasure'.
It's a CD release concert for Michiko Morell's 'In the Morning' and The Jazz Professors' CD 'En Plein Air'
It promises to be a really wonderful concert with great musicians.
We are looking forward to see all of you at the Palladium side door on Jan 22nd.
